Mission & Values
A core goal of our coalition is to encourage deeper regional collaboration among New England’s governors and legislatures. We support the development of a shared regional vision for offshore wind—one that establishes accountability, aligns policy priorities, and guides long-term strategic planning.

Our History And Growth
Founded in 2020, New England for Offshore Wind began as a small group of organizations committed to advancing clean, reliable energy for the region. Since then, the coalition has grown to include more than 100 labor, environmental, business, academic, and community partners working together to shape responsible offshore wind development. Through collaboration, research, and advocacy, we’ve helped elevate offshore wind as a cornerstone of New England’s clean energy future.
